Residential Water Damage in Jenison, MI

This homeowner was gone for the weekend and came home to her house in Jenison, MI to find water damage throughout the entire basement due to sump pump failure.  We were there within 1 hour of the initial call and started the drying process immediately.  With our state of the art drying and mold remediation equipment we were able to start the cleaning and extraction process the same day.  Contents had to be boxed up and stored in portable storage units in order for the cleanup to begin. The entire insulation of the crawl space had to be removed in order to facilitate the drying of the subfloor.

Main Water line break, Grand Rapids, MI

This Grand Rapids home suffered a water main break that affected the hall way, two bedrooms, hallway closet and the recreational room. SERVPRO of Southwest Grand Rapids was able to salvage the furniture and contents by our quick response time. By removing all furniture and contents for cleaning, we were able to complete the water mitigation within a day, then drying process in five days. All laundry was washed in our eSporta washing machine, processed at our office and returned to the home owner. Upon completion of the mitigation, the owner was able to begin minimal reconstruction by replacing baseboards.
